Vanessa Plaza Lazo is an Ecuadorian Production Designer based in Los Angeles, California. She has experience working in numerous TV commercials, music videos, Independent Features, international TV shows, Theme entertainment attractions and Theater.
She was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but started her career in Art Department in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2012. She holds an MFA in Production Design from CalArts and has multiple nominations for Production Design in multiple Film Festivals.
During her years of experience she has developed a unique creative and artistic vision with a wide multicultural perspective. It's a constant learning run, she keeps looking for new projects to get the chance to create new stages and scenery within which she can be able to communicate people’s ideas and last but not least, her own. She wants to transport people to new worlds, but more importantly make them live new experiences through her designs.
